Role : Business Analyst
Functional/operational:
• Create and maintain VB macros in excel post understanding the data/system needs of the business and developing integrated MIS systems for creating reports to be presented to management
• Creation and maintenance of other analytical tools to discover trends and track/analyze performance of operations and third-party service providers
• Providing adhoc analysis to facilitate management decision making
• Understanding and customization of the tools used for the various processes
• Drive organization-wide initiatives on automation, improved reporting and analysis of operations
• Knowledge on various scripts/technologies like VB, XML, and HTML would be preferred.
Team related:
• Work in conjunction with the other team members in the gathering of the detailed reporting requirements
• Act as a liaison between various team members, both internal and external
Client specific/oriented:
• Must be a hands-on individual with a focus on excellent customer service

Qualification : BCA/MCA with experience or B.E/B.Tech graduate (Computer Science/Information Technology)
Required Skills
• Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail and independent problem solving skills
• Knowledge of VB Macros and SQL Queries.
• Knowledge on HTML and other technologies would be an added advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self Motivator and strong driving skill to get things done quickly and correctly in strict accordance with standards, policies, rules and timelines
• Willingness to work in flexible shifts
Preferred Skills
• Experience in the areas of work force management and cost management
• Knowledge of application of statistical and analytical tools would be an added advantage
Additional requirements/technical certifications
• Advanced level in MS Excel (Macro, Data Analysis module, etc.)
• SQL (Oracle/Sybase/MS-SQL) would be an added advantage
